Looking at the bigger picture, the cricketer has the 23rd most-followed account on Instagram, ahead of Demi Lovato, Ellen DeGeneres, Rihanna, Cardi B, Billie Eilish, Drake and David Beckham. The only other Indians in the top 50 are Priyanka Chopra with 60.8m followers and Shraddha Kapoor with 58.1m followers.
Kohli frequently posts about the achievements of the Indian cricket team as well as his time in the gym. Equally visible are brand endorsements. As for his wife, actor Anushka Sharma’s account, there are 46.4m followers. Yes, there are a lot of brand endorsements on her account but also present a lot of fun pictures with Kohli.
