Former Brazilian football giant Ronaldinho Gaucho visited the City of Joy for the first time recently to soak in the city’s football fervour. Just in time for Durga Puja, his itinerary included a trip to the pandals, among other things. He was also felicitated by Emami Healthy & Tasty Foods and East Bengal Football Club at a ceremony held at JW Marriott Kolkata. Here are some snapshots.

(Top left) Ronaldinho met the former Spanish defender and the present coach of East Bengal Football Club, Carles Cuadrat, after 18 years and shared a nostalgic moment. "Eu amo massa" said Ronaldinho when asked about his favourite food. Carles translated that he loved pasta.
