Our theme for this year is Anantya — endless possibilities and limitless potential, which, we feel, all women have. It revolves around fostering innovation, empowerment, and collaboration within the community.

Can you take us through your goals for FICCI and how are you envisioning its growth in the coming year?

My goals for FICCI include expanding our reach, enhancing member engagement and promoting diversity and inclusivity. I envision steady growth through strategic partnerships and initiatives that address the evolving needs of our members. Through my tenure, I want to emphasise the importance of women supporting women and how we can uplift and empower each other.

What are some of the challenges you are looking forward to addressing during your tenure?

Some challenges I aim to address during my tenure include enhancing digital engagement, advocating for gender equality, making women self-sufficient through vocational education and navigating economic uncertainties, whilst getting diverse perspectives through influential guest speakers.

What are some of your most memorable moments during your association with FICCI over the years?

One of my most memorable moments with FICCI was participating in conferences and networking with inspiring leaders from diverse backgrounds. Also, interacting with our respectable chapter members and the national FLO body has always been a source of lasting learning and inspiration.

Being an active entrepreneur, how do you plan to balance the two roles in your professional life?

Balancing entrepreneurship and leadership roles requires effective time management, delegation and prioritisation. I plan to leverage my experience and support systems to maintain this balance successfully. With the right pillars of support, which I have in my committee, friends and family, I look forward to a year of growth and learning.

What were some of your key lessons from the past presidents of this organisation that you think will help you in your journey?

The past presidents at FLO have been visionaries who have guided many generations of women. I’ve learned many valuable lessons from past presidents, including the importance of resilience, collaboration and leadership that empowers all womenkind. I seek their wisdom and guidance in my tenure, and this will undoubtedly guide me in my journey ahead.

Are there any major changes you wish to bring into the organisation?

While it’s too early to outline specific changes, I’m committed to fostering innovation, inclusivity and sustainability within the organisation, aligning with our evolving needs and priorities.
