Sumit Bhattacharya, 38, began the day at 3.30am with a luchi breakfast — a special meal for a special day. “We had a birthday party for a friend last night and there we came up with an impromptu plan to watch the match at one of our friend’s houses,” said the Toronto banker. “If India wins, we will have another big bash to celebrate.” His message for the Men in Blue: “Do your best, God will take care of the rest! India, Indiahhhhhhh!!”

Notices were sent out, four screens have been set up for around 750 people to watch the  match.” Employees can help themselves to chairs from a stack — and keep them back when done — and also buy food
