On this day the ship Bheemoolah (or Beemolah), which was launched in 1808 in Calcutta as a “country ship”, returned from China. A country ship meant an India-based ship that traded locally and in China.

It sailed again from Calcutta on July 4, 1810, reached Diamond Harbour on September 7 and Mauritius on December 6. It participated in the British attacks on Île Bourbon and Île de France.

After its name changed to Woodbridge in 1812, it was used mostly in trade in south-east Asia. It also made two voyages transporting convicts, one to New South Wales and another to Van Diemen's Land. It was listed till 1855
