Opposite Acropolis Mall, two women were walking down a busy footpath, both without a mask. When asked, one of them responded. “We have masks with us.” But the two kept walking without caring to wear one.
A woman was walking along the Rashbehari connector without a mask. “Oh! I was checking WhatsApp and the mask just slipped,” she said and walked on.
A man and a woman were waiting at a bus stop on Rajdanga Main Road. The woman was without a mask.
“I have it in my bag. I will wear it,” the woman said.
A man at College Street was wearing a mask but it was not covering his mouth and nose. “I always wear a mask,” he said as he tried to hail cabs.
Three women were walking from Birla planetarium towards the Victoria Memorial. One of them had a mask on her chin. “I have it. I was talking and so it might have slipped,” she said and pulled up the mask.
A woman was waiting for a bus at Amherst Street, with the mask on her chin. “I will wear it once I board the bus,” she told the photographer. A bus stopped and she got up, the mask still on her chin.
