The state primary education board has notified the guidelines for the candidates who will write the Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET) to be held on December 11.
A separate notice has been issued listing the guidelines that candidates who had cracked the TET held earlier would have to follow to appear in an interview for recruitment.
The notice on the upcoming TET says: “Only those persons who have acquired the academic and professional qualifications specified in the NCTE (National Council for Teachers’ Education) notification dated 25-08-2010 read with 28-06-2018… are eligible to apply for TET 2022.”
The guidelines uploaded on the primary board’s website says: “Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50 per cent marks and two year’s diploma in elementary education or senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50 per cent marks and four-year bachelor of elementary education or senior secondary (or its equivalent)with at least 50 per cent marks and having diploma in education (special education), a course recognised by the Rehabilitation Council of India... or graduation with at least 50 per cent marks and bachelor of education” can apply.
