Kolkata Traffic Police have posted a list of programmes that might affect the city traffic on Thursday (23.06.2022).

  • Noon (12pm)- 5pm: A sit-in demonstration in front of Statesman House, 4 Chowringhee Square, near Tipu sultan Mosque.
  • 1pm: A procession from Ramlila Maidan on CIT Road t o Y-channel. The likely route is along CIT Road Moulali crossing - SN Banerjee Road - Dorina crossing.

No-parking zones declared

Kolkata police have declared that both sides of five roads­ Loudon Street, Rawdon Street, Robinson Street, Moira Street and Hungerford Street- are no-parking zones from 7am to 2pm. Police officers said the decision was taken for the effective management of traffic during school hours. The new restriction will be in force in addition to the other parking restrictions that are already in place in the area, officers added.
