Bus hits auto
Four people were injured when a private bus of route 30C hit an autorickshaw near Baguiati off VIP Road on Thursday afternoon. Two passengers who were in the auto were admitted to a private hospital, police said. A third passenger and the auto driver were admitted to RG Kar hospital. The police later detained the bus driver, Sheikh lmtiyaz.
Motorcyclist hurt
A 46-year-old motorcyclist was injured after being hit by a truck on Lalbazar Street on Wednesday night. Police said Amit Sen, was admitted to a hospital. The truck was yet to be identified till Thursday evening.
