Kolkata Traffic Police have posted a list of programmes that might affect the city traffic on Friday (25.03.2022).
- 4pm: A procession may start near Moulali mazar and end at Jorasanko Thakurbari on Chittaranjan Avenue. The likely to route is along AJC Bose Road- Sealdah flyover- MG Road- Chittaranjan Avenue.
- 5pm: A meeting is scheduled to take place opposite Jatin Das Park near Hazra crossing.
- 10pm (25.03.2022) to 6am (29.03.2022):- The Gariahat flyover will be closed to traffic to facilitate a test to assess the load-bearing capacity of the structure. Buses on several routes, including 80B, 234, 37A, 13C/1and AC5, will have to take a right turn from the Deshapriya Park crossing and move along Sarat Bose Road and Southern Avenue to reach Golpark, and vice-versa, to avoid the Gariahat crossing. Minibuses headed for Kasba and Ekdalia will move through Swinhoe Street, Cornfield Road, Rashbehari Avenue and Bijon Setu.
