Kolkata Traffic Police has posted a list of programmes on social media that may affect the city traffic on Wednesday.

- 10:00am: Demonstration or agitation at some strategic locations
Near the crossing of Hazra Road and Harish Chatterjee Street.
The southern end of Kalighat bridge near the Gopal Nagar crossing.
Belvedere Road and DL Khan Road crossing near Presidency Correctional Home.
In front of the National Library near CU Alipore Campus.
- 12.30pm: A demonstration/ agitation at Khudiram Anushilan Kendra
- 11am: Participants at the aforementioned demonstration may assemble at Babughat bus stand/ Ferry Ghat via Howrah / Sealdah Station and proceed towards Khudiram Anushilan Kendra.
- 5pm: A religious programme may be held near Tarikhana More.
Auto accident
A 60-year-old man travelling in an autorickshaw was injured after the vehicle collided with a Tata Ace on DC Dey Road on Tuesday morning. Swapan Ghosh, 60, a resident of Barasat, was taken to the NRS Medical College and Hospital, from where he was discharged after treatment.
