Kolkata Traffic Police have posted on social media a list of programmes that might affect the city traffic on Thursday.
Important programmes that might affect city traffic for the day (17.03.2022).
- 11am: Sit-in demonstration on Y Road, Esplanade.
- 11:45am-3pm: High Madrasha, Alim & Fazil exam 2022.
- 12:30pm/ 1pm: Agitation programme styled as "Lalbazar Abhijaan" .
Car hits auto, five injured
Five persons were injured when a private car hit an autorickshaw, which then collided With a two wheeler, on the Chitpore bridge on Wednesday morning. The autorickshaw driver, two passengers, the motorcyclist and the pillion rider were injured. They were taken to RG Kar hospital, from where they were discharged after first aid. Police arrested the driver of the car.
Lorry accident
Three persons were injured when a lorry collided with a motorised van on Basanti Highway, near Bhojerhat, on Wednesday morning. Three passengers of the van were taken to hospital, from where they were discharged after first aid.
