Kolkata Traffic Police has posted a list of programmes on social media that may affect the city traffic on Saturday.
Important programmes that may affect city traffic for the day (12.03.2022).

- 10:00am: National Lok Adalat at CJM court, Alipore.
- 10:30am: National Lok Adalat at Bichar Bhawan (City Sessions court), Bankshall court, City Civil court building by the district services authority.
- Between 10am & 5pm : Sit-in demonstration/ meeting near Y Road .
- 3pm: Procession from Yogayog Bhawan on C.R. Avenue to Mahajati Sadan
Madhyamik examination is currently afoot in the state. Students will be writing their life science paper on Saturday.
The exam will be held from 11.45am to 3pm at the designated exam venues.
Cyclist run over by truck
A bicyclist died in an accident after being hit by a small truck at the crossing of James Long Sarani and Biren Roy Road on Thursday night Kumar Modak, 49, a resident of Thakupukur, was taken to Vidyasagar State General Hospital where he was declared dead, police said. The truck driver has been arrested.
