Former Team India captain and ex-BCCI chief Sourav Ganguly inaugurated the HP Ghosh Hospital at Salt Lake Sector 3, Kolkata on January 7.
The hospital is a unit of The Eastern India Heart Care and Research Foundation. The 184-bed multi-speciality hospital is situated at HB 36/A/2, Salt Lake City, Sector-III, Kolkata 700106, West Bengal.
Fire and emergency services minister Sujit Bose was the guest of honour at the event, which was also attended by Bandhan Bank managing director and chief executive officer Chandra Shekhar Ghosh and other dignitaries of the society.

At HP Ghosh Hospital, the focus will be on cardiology, neuro, spine and orthopaedic treatment. It will also offer full range of diagnostic services. The facility has state-of-the-art operation theatres that are equipped with all modern and updated equipment and technology. It will also introduce maximum digitalisation in all possible processes to support data authentication, required for future research studies.
