Rus Education and Russian House, Kolkata organised the 23rd Russian Education Fair 2022 in the city on July 29.
The fair was held at Russian Centre of Science and Culture, Gorky Sadan, in south Kolkata for the students aspiring to pursue education in Russia. Alexey Idamkin, consul general of the Russian Federation in Kolkata, was present to inaugurate the fair.
The exclusive fair aimed to bring together top universities from Russia under one roof. It was a free platform for all students to understand their prospects, apply directly to the institution of their choice and get first-hand information on courses, scholarship seats, availability of Indian food at universities, complete passport and visa assistance, preparation of documents for the students, accommodation facilities offered by the universities and much more.

The participating universities in the Kolkata fair were Moscow State University of Psychology and Education, Moscow State University of Civil Engineering (National Research University), Ulyanovsk State Technical University, Peter The Great St Petersburg Polytechnic University, Astrakhan State University, Orenburg State Medical University, Mari State University, Perm State Medical University, Ural Federal University, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, and Moscow State Regional University.
Russian Education Fair is also being held in Delhi, Mumbai, Thiruvananthapuram and Hyderabad.
