Passport Seva Kendras to remain open on October 29

New applicants can seek online appointment; dates for pending applications can be rescheduled

All Passport Seva Kendras (PSKs) under the Passport Office Kolkata, i.e., Kolkata, Siliguri, Gangtok, Berhampore and Agartala will remain open on October 29, Saturday, 2022. The Regional Passport Office (under the Ministry of External Affairs) authority has decided to keep the mentioned kendras open so as to help applicants submit their forms on that day. The authority has informed on Tuesday that those applicants who have already taken an appointment for police clearance certificate (PCC) may reschedule their appointment for October 29. The new applicants can also seek their appointment for PCC as the appointments will be entertained only for PCC on the said date. One has to take an online appointment from the website and reach the concerned PSK at the stipulated time and submit the PCC form.

For PSK Kolkata, 2000 appointments will be entertained. The address is Aakash Tower, Eastern Bye Pass, Ruby, Kasba, Anandpur, Kolkata – 700107.

For PSK Agartala, the number is 297. One has to reach the PSK located on the 1st Floor, Jackson Gate Building, Lenin Sarani, Agartala. The pincode is 799001.

For PSK Siliguri, only 250 appointments will be allowed and they must reach the 1st Floor, Shopping Centre Office Building, Himachal Vihar, Siliguri, West Bengal – 734010.

For PSK Gangtok, 130 applicants will be heard and their venue is Manan Bhawan, 1st Floor, Development Area, New Secretariat, Gangtok, Sikkim – 737101.

For PSK Berhampore, the number of appointments to be entertained is 603. One has to reach Amita Automobile Building, Radhika Nagar, P.O. Cossimbazar, Jalangi Road, Berhampore, Murshidabad, West Bengal – 742101.

The authority has also stated that only those applicants who have obtained an appointment for the above-mentioned date through online mode (www.passportindia.gov.in) will be entertained while tatkal, on-hold files and walk-in applications will not be accepted and processed.
