The Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Cancer Hospital, Kolkata, has recently inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Cliniminds to introduce a wide range of clinical job-oriented programmes.
Programmes like clinical research, pharmacovigilance, clinical data management, business analytics, healthcare data science and regulatory affairs will be offered under the agreement between the hospital and the institute.
Climinds managing director Kamal Shahani and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Cancer Hospital managing trustee Soma Mukhopadhyay signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations in Kolkata.
“This partnership would create opportunities for students from life sciences, medical, pharma, nursing and biotech backgrounds and provide them with necessary employment skills,” said Mukhopadhyay.
The job oriented e-skilling programmes of Cliniminds are certified by the Life Sciences Sector Skill Development Council under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India.
“Cliniminds has experience in offering skilling programmes in the life sciences sector since 2004. With the new partnership, the programmes will become even more valuable for students. Cliniminds has an excellent job placement track record and has an alumni network with over 8,500 professionals,” said Shahani.
