Metro Railway Kolkata has announced special services for IPL match days and Good Friday.
Metro Railway will run 188 (94 UP + 94 DN) services on the Blue line (Kavi Subhash to Dum Dum/Dakshineswar, Dum Dum/Dakshineswar to Kavi Subhash) on April 7 on the occasion of Good Friday instead of 288 daily services. Although Metro service hours in this corridor will remain unchanged.
Similarly, 90 (45 UP + 45 DN) services will run instead of 106 daily services on the Green Line (Sealdah to Salt Lake Sector V, Salt Lake Sector V to Sealdah) on April 7. Metro service hours in this Corridor will also remain unchanged.
In addition to that, on Wednesday said, "Kausik Mitra, chief public relation officer, said, "Metro services for IPL T-20 matches will start from Esplanade at 00:15 am and will reach Dakshineswar at 00:48 am. For the people of Kavi Subhash area, another special train will start from Esplanade at 00:15 am and will reach Kavi Subhash at 00:48 am on the dates of IPL T-20 matches."The trains towards Dakshineswar from Esplanade and Kavi Subhash from Esplanade will stop at all stations.
