The results of Madhyamik 2022 will be published on June 3, the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education announced on Monday.
“This is for information of all concerned that the results of the Madhyamik Pariksha… 2022 will be announced by the Hon’ble President of the Board on 3rd June, 2022 at 9am through a press conference,” said Mausumi Banerjee Bhadra, deputy secretary (examination) of the board.
Some of the websites where the results will be available from 10am on June 3 are www.wbbse.wb.gov.in, http://wbresults.nic.in, http://abpananda.abplive.in, www.anandabazar.com, www.indiaresults.com, www.schools9.com, www.jagranjosh.com and www.vidyavision.com.
The examinees can also know their results through SMS. They need to type WB10 roll number and send the message to 5676750.
The roll number and the mobile number can be pre-registered on www.exametc.com to get the results free via SMS.
The examinees can also download the mobile app “Madhyamik Results 2022” from Google play store, the board said.
In a separate notification on Monday, addressed to the heads of all affiliated institutions, the board requested the heads or their authorised representatives to collect the mark sheets and certificates from select camp offices from 10am on June 3.
“It will not be possible to begin the distribution before 10am. The schools are requested to hand the mark sheets and certificates to the candidates the same day,” said the notice.
Madhyamik 2022 was held from March 7 to 16. About 10 lakh examinees wrote the papers at 2,839 venues. The exams could not be held last year because of the pandemic.
Teen drowns
A 14-year-old boy drowned in a canal near Majerhat Bridge on Sunday afternoon. Mohammad Mehefuj was declared dead at SSKM Hospital, police said.
