A campaign for a cause and a treat for the eyes, Narayana Health, in association with ABP Digital, presented 'Mone Rekho' — a four-day laser show in Chandernagore against the backdrop of its grand Jagaddhatri Puja celebrations from November 19 to 22. The 30-minute laser show, held at Maddhyanchal in Chandernagore post sunset on the four days of celebrations, turned out to be a big draw.
The unique campaign, which fused the visual experience of laser lights and an aural experience of a narration by Mir Afsar Ali, aimed at conveying the importance of organ donation and its social impact, dispelling myths surrounding the practice and encouraging organ donation pledges. Using a mythological narrative, the show sought to sensitise people about the positive impacts of organ donation and also instil in them a sense of understanding.
Interested individuals have the option of scanning QR codes and pledging their organs by signing up on Narayana Health's website. The hospital will guide them through the necessary steps, collaborating with the National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation (NOTTO), to ensure a hassle-free and ethical process.
"We believe Mone Rekho will not only engage but also inspire individuals to consider the noble cause of organ donation," said R Venkatesh, Group COO, Narayana Health. "Mone Rekho is not just a laser show but also a call for action, urging everyone to pledge their organs, helping and guiding people with the necessary processes who are willing to be the hope for someone and continue to live through someone else.”
