Jadavpur University vice-chancellor tenure ends
The tenure of Suranjan Das as interim vice-chancellor of Jadavpur University will end on May 31. Das had tendered his resignation before Governor C.V. Ananda Bose, chancellor of state universities, on March 1. Bose had ratified extension of Das s tenure till May 31. If his tenure is not extended or someone else is not appointed, JU will be without a VC.
