Cyclonic circulation
A cyclonic circulation is likely to take shape over the southeast Bay of Bengal on May 6, the Met office said. “It is likely to intensify into a low-pressure area around May 8. It is likely to intensify further,” said an official. Till Tuesday night, there was no formal word on whether the system would intensify into a cyclone.
