Metro inspection
Commercial services on the newly inaugurated Kavi Subhash-Hemanta Mukhopadhyay (New Garia-Ruby crossing) Metro section will be suspended on Thursday and Friday, said a Metro official. The chief commissioner of railway safety is scheduled to inspect the section between Ruby and Beleghata on these two days. “Due to some operational exigencies related to the CCRS inspection, commercial services will be off between Kavi Subhas and Hemanta Mukhopadhyay on March 28 and 29,” the official said.
