ICSE, ISC improvement exams begin today

The ICSE (Class X) and ISC (Class XII) improvement exams will begin on Wednesday. The ICSE exams will continue till July 19 and the ISC till July 13. The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) decided to introduce the improvement exams from 2023 to give a chance to candidates “to improve their performance in any one subject of their choice”.

Jadavpur University seed grant for research scholars

Jadavpur University will provide seed-grant support towards innovative product development to students and research scholars and has sought proposals from students. A notice issued by the university s institution innovation council said the maximum budget allocation for a successful proposal will be Rs 30,000. Primary screening will be based on technology commercialisation of the product, a JU official said.

RKM college’s funds plea to alumni

Ramakrishna Mission Residential College, Narendrapur, has appealed to its alumni for help so the college can improve "infrastructure both for lab-based and non-labbased subjects" for efficient implementation of the four-year undergraduate programme.
