Presidency vice-chancellor
Nirmalya Narayan Chakrabarti, former interim vice-chancellor of Rabindra Bharati University, has been appointed interim VC of Presidency University. The governor, the ex-officio chancellor of state-aided universities, appointed Chakrabarti the new interim VC of Presidency on Monday. He will replace Suvro Kamal Mukhopadhayay.
