Eastern Railway
Eastern Railway became the best performing zonal railway for scrap sales for the first quarter in the current financial year, said a railway official. Between April and June 2023, Eastern Railway earned Rs 101.66 crore in scrap sales, 59 per cent higher than the target, said the official.
Metro Railway revenue
Metro Railway has earned Rs 9.15 crore in nonfare revenue between April 1 and June 30 this year, said an official. In the corresponding period last year, the carrier earned Rs 5.07 crore in the same category.
