Internship scheme
Chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday launched a student internship scheme as part of which the state government will give training to 2,500 students graduating from general degree colleges, polytechnic colleges and ITIs, in various departments of the state government and give them a stipend of Rs 10,000 a month for a year. Mamata reminded the audience who gathered for Students Week at Dhanadhanya auditorium about the toll-free number her government started for ragging complaints.
