More rain from Friday, says Met
The Met office has predicted a “rise in the spread and intensity” of rainfall in Calcutta from Friday. “The monsoon trough is likely to come closer to the north Bay and that will trigger increased cloud formation,” said a Met official. But the official ruled out heavy rain. The districts of north Bengal are likely to get heavy rain over the next 48 hours.
Kolkata Traffic Police have already posted a list of restrictions that might affect the city traffic on Thursday (21.7.2022) on July 19.
