Special trains
Two summer special trains to New Jalpaiguri (NJP) will be run to ease the rush of passengers, said an official of Eastern Railway.
The Howrah-New Jalpaiguri Summer Special will leave Howrah at 11.40pm every Wednesday from April 19 to June 28. The train will reach NJP at 10.45am the next day. While returning, the train will leave NJP at 12.15pm every Thursday from April 20 to June 29 and reach Howrah at 11.30pm the same day.
The Sealdah New Jalpaiguri Summer Special will leave Sealdah at 11.40pm every Saturday. The first train left on April 15 and the services will continue till June 24. The train will reach New Jalpaiguri at 10.45am the next day. In the return direction, the train will leave New Jalpaiguri at 12.15pm every Sunday starting April 16 and till June 25 to reach Sealdah at 11.50pm the same day.
