Metro during Puja

Metro Railway is going to run services up to midnight in the East-West corridor from Saptami (October 21) to Navami (October 23), the carrier said on Saturday. The East-West Metro, which will link Salt Lake Sector V and Howrah Maidan once complete, is now functional between Sector V and Sealdah.

On Saptami, Ashtami and Navami, the first trains will leave Sealdah at 11.55am and Sector V at 12 noon. The last trains will leave Sealdah and Sector V at 11.35pm and 11.40pm, respectively. On Dashami, the first trains will leave Sealdah and Sector V at 11.55am and 12 noon, respectively. The last trains will leave Sealdah and Sector V at 7.35pm and 7.40pm, respective- ly. On the Joka-Taratala corridor, there will be no services from Saptami to Dashami, the carrier said.
