Kolkata Traffic Police have posted a notification on traffic restrictions that will be in place for the Trinamool Congress rally at Brigade Parade Ground on Sunday (10.3.2024).

• Movement of vehicular traffic will be regulated along stretches of Amherst Street, Bidhan Sarani, College Square Brabourne Road, Strand Road, BB Ganguly Street, Bentinck Street, New CIT Road and Rabindra Sarani from 4am to 9pm
• Movement of all types of goods vehicles (except LPG vehicles, vehicles carrying vegetables, fruits & milk will be restricted within the city (Kolkata Police jurisdiction) from 1pm to 8pm
• Parking will not be allowed on the following thoroughfares/roads: In and around Victoria Memorial Hall, ie, portion of AJC Bose Road between Hastings crossing and Cathedral Road, Hospital Road, Queensway, Cathedral Road, Casuarina Avenue, Lovers Lane
• Movement of all vehicles and carts, including trams will be temporarily suspended or diverted or not allowed to be parked on the roads and approaches along the route of the processions from 4am to 8pm or as and when considered necessary
• Vehicular traffic may also be diverted from any of the arterial roads and feeder roads by the Kolkata Traffic Police on duty as and when considered necessary, according to the above programme
