ISC council
The deputy secretary (ISC) of the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), Sangeeta Bhatia, will take over on October 1 all “duties and responsibilities” which were being carried out by the chief executive and secretary, the CISCE said on Friday. Gerry Arathoon, the chief executive and secretary, will be superannuating on September 30.
Selection test
The state secondary education board has said in a communication to the heads of the government and aided schools on Friday that all questions in the Class X selection test must adhere to the prescribed curriculum for Class X. The communication said there should not be any question that may cause any controversy and tarnish the image of the board and the state government.
