Train rescheduled
The Howrah-Pune Azad Hind Express, scheduled to leave Howrah at 9.55pm on Friday, will now leave at 9.30am on Saturday, said a railway official. A delay in the arrival of the train from Pune has led to the delay, he said.
Laser ray complaint
The pilot of a Kolkata-bound flight complained to the Kolkata airport authorities about laser ray interference when the flight was within 20 nautical miles (around 37km) from the airport on Thursday night. Police said the area where the laser beam came from was yet to be ascertained.
