Bhadra’s parole extended
Justice Tirthankar Ghosh of Calcutta High Court on Friday extended the custody parole of Sujay Krishna Bhadra, better known as Kalighat-er Kaku, till July 16 to complete the last rites of his wife
The ED arrested Bhadra on June 2 for his alleged involvement in the school recruitment case. He is in judicial custody at present
Bhadra was released from the Presidency Correctional Home by the department of correctional administration on June 27 for three days after his wife Bani Bhadra died of a cardiac arrest
Bhadra’s parole was to end on Friday.
