Hawker line
The town vending committee of Kolkata, police and Kolkata Municipal Corporation officials drew yellow lines on a pavement along SN Banerjee Road, between Jawaharlal Nehru Road crossing and Janbazar, on Friday. The line demarcates two-thirds width of the pavement that should be kept free for pedestrians. The rest can be used by hawkers to set up stalls.
