Vande Bharat delay
The Vande Bharat Express, which was to leave Howrah station for New Jalpaiguri at 5.55am on Friday, was declared "unfit for operation" because of a glitch in the undercarriage, a railway official said. A substitute rake was arranged and it left around 7am.
Dengue meeting
The Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation met with representatives of government offices from all 41 wards on Friday and asked them to keep their office premises clean and not let water accumulate to prevent dengue.
