Metro for World Cup
Metro Railway will run special trains for spectators of the World Cup matches at Eden Gardens. The trains will run on October 31, November 5, 11 and 16. On each day, two trains will depart from Esplanade from 10.45pm, one towards Dakhineswar and the other towards New Garia, said an official.
Circular train
Circular railway services will be regulated from 4pm to 5am (the next day) on October 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28 to facilitate the immersion of Durga idols, said a railway official.
