Border arrest
The Border Security Force (BSF) intercepted seven Indians and a Bangladeshi from the international frontier in north Bengal on Saturday. All of them have been handed over to police. Among the arrested were three men, all residents of the South Dinajpur district, who were moving suspiciously on a motorcycle in Chakrashail village.The BSF seized 193 bottles of banned cough syrup from them. The trio had plans to smuggle the items into Bangladesh. The BSF conducted anti-smuggling drives from November 14 to 19 at different locations in north Bengal.
