Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee condition
Former chief minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, 79, took “soup orally” on Sunday afternoon, Woodlands Hospital said in a statement on Sunday. A medical board will be convened on Monday, the statement said. His overall clinical status was stable. Bhattacharjee was admitted to the hospital on July 29 with a lower respiratory tract infection and type II respiratory failure.
