Kolkata Traffic Police has posted a programme that might affect the city traffic on Friday (14.4.2023)
- 1pm: Procession from Sealdah Railway Station complex to Raja Subodh Mallick Square via Moulali crossing, SN Banerjee Road, Wellington crossing
- 2pm: Procession from Rajabazar crossing to Ramlila Maidan via APC Road, Sealdah flyover, AJC Bose Road, Moulali crossing
- 7.30pm: Cricket match will be played at Eden Gardens
Kolkata Traffic Police have also issued a traffic notification in connection with IPL 2023 matches to be held at the Eden Gardens on April 6, 14, 23 and 29, and May 8, 11 and 20.
Dupe cuffs on 4
Four persons were arrested from an office on Park Street on Thursday from where they were allegedly running a fraudulent call centre. Officers of the cybercrime cell of the Port division of Kolkata police said they had received a complaint from a woman in Ekbalpore who was cheated of Rs 57,795 with a false promise of an instant loan.
During the investigation, cops found another victim in Nadial who had allegedly lost Rs 82,000 in a similar way.
