Talk to mayor on Fridays
Talk to Mayor, a programme where Kolkatans can directly talk to the mayor over the phone, will be held between 3pm and 4pm every Friday from October 14. Earlier, the phone-in programme was held between 1pm and 2pm on Saturdays. The programme will not be held till October 14 because of the Puja.
Festival trains
Two pairs of special trains will run on the Secunderabad-Santragachi-Secunderabad and Secunderabad-Shalimar-Secunderabad routes to cater to the festival rush, said officials of Southeastern Railway. The Secunderabad-Santragachi train will leave Secunderabad on September 30 and Santragachi on October 1. The Secunderabad-Shalimar train will leave Secunderabad on October 2 and Shalimar on October 3.
