Train flagged off
Jyotirmoyee Ghosh, a 95-year-old freedom fighter, flagged off one of the oldest trains from Howrah station on Wednesday in the run-up to the celebration of 75 years of Independence. "The Howrah Mumbai Mail is the oldest running train of South Eastern Railway and commenced its journey on September 25, 1893. The train has been in service for more than 128 years," said a Railway spokesperson.
