  • 1.30pm: Autorickshaw rally from Amherst Street and Mahatma Gandhi Road crossing towards Sealdah Smart Bazaar complex via Surya Sen Street, APC Road, Kaizer Street, Narkeldanga Main Road, Phoolbagan, CIT Road, Beliaghata Main Road, Cannel East Road, Rashmoni Bagan Lane, DC Dey Road, Baishali More, Christopher Road, Chittaranjan auto stand, CIT Road, Moulali More, AJC Bose Road, Sealdah flyover etc

Trains cancelled

A three-day rail blockade from Thursday in Punjab, organised by several farmers associations to press for a set of demands, has forced the cancellation of several trains, some of them connecting north India and Kolkata.

The Kolkata (Chitpore)-Jammu Tawi Express, Sealdah-Amritsar Express, Howrah-Amritsar Express and Howrah-Kalka Netaji Express are among the trains cancelled on Friday, said an official of Eastern Railway.
