Cricket World Cup meet
Senior police officers met at the Kolkata police headquarters in Lalbazar on Thursday to assess the preparedness for hosting World Cup matches at the Eden Gardens. Apart from security of players of visiting teams, officers discussed measures for visitors from abroad who will come to see matches at the Eden Gardens.
Train stops
The Kriya Yoga Express between Howrah and Hatia will stop at Suisa station in Jharkhand from September 16, said a railway official. The Chakradharpur Express between Howrah and Adra will stop at Chandrakona Road station from September 17, said the official of South Eastern Railway.
