Bus, car collide in Dalhousie
A car and a bus collided in Dalhousie on Thursday morning, prompting the driver of the car to board the bus and confront its driver for allegedly hitting his vehicle. Police said no one was injured in the collision.
An officer at Hare Street police station said they have conducted an inquiry into the matter. None of the vehicles was seized as there was no formal complaint by the car driver or its owner.

Major General Vivek Tyagi took over as additional director-general of the NCC (National Cadet Corps) directorate of Bengal and Sikkim on Thursday. He took over from Maj. Gen. U.S. Sengupta at a handing-over ceremony conducted at the NCC directorate in New Alipore.
