Madhyamik, HS timing revised

The timing of the Madhyamik and the state higher secondary examinations has been brought forward and will start at 9.45am instead of at noon this year. The decision was taken following a meeting at Nabanna with representatives of the exam conducting bodies. A board official said the change was so that students could reach home early. Madhyamik (secondary) is scheduled from February 2 to February 12 and HS from February 16 to February 29. A total of around 18 lakh students are expected to write the exams.
