Some districts of south Bengal are likely to get some rain between April 22 and 25, said an official.
“A cyclonic circulation is likely to take shape over Jharkhand. The increase in moisture incursion from the Bay and the system together are likely to cause some thunderstorm activities in the districts, said G.K. Das, director, IMD, Kolkata.
“What is in store for Kolkata will be known tomorrow. But even if there is no rain, a slight dip in the Celsius is likely in Kolkata.”
“If the rain is widespread, it will cause a significant dip in the temperature. If the rain is marginal, then it will only increase the humidity quotient and discomfort levels,” he said.
In the hills, Darjeeling and Kalimpong got some rain on Wednesday.
