The Kolkata Municipal Corporation has launched a photography contest titled Amar Chokhe Kolkata (Kolkata Through My Eyes).
Citizens can click photographs of the city and upload them on KMC’s Facebook page. The entries will be accepted till April 30.
“Calling all photographers from Kolkata! Kolkata Municipal Corporation presents “Amar Chokhe Kolkata” - A once in a lifetime opportunity for citizens of Kolkata to click & share iconic photographs of the city…” stated KMC authorities on their Facebook page.
Thirty best photographs will be put on display at Town Hall. The three best photographs will be displayed at the KMC headquarters.
KMC authorities on Sunday announced that they have received over 400+ photo entries on day 1. They wrote on Facebook, “Thank you for the overwhelming response & the beautiful photo entries! Kolkata & Photography truly do share a special relationship. We look forward to many more entries! #AmarChokheKolkata”
