Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) fans will probably cheer for the last time for their favourite team in this edition of the IPL as KKR take on the Lucknow SuperGiants (LSG) in the 68th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Saturday. KKR are currently placed seventh in the points table while LSG, on the other hand, are placed third and a win will guarantee them a spot in the knockouts. In the other match of Saturday, CSK scored 223 runs against DC and won by 77 runs

LSG’s fielding coach Jonty Rhodes at the nets at Eden Gardens ahead of the crucial tie on Saturday. KKR is in a tight spot. Even if they win this game, they will finish with 14 points. However, given their poor net run rate (NRR), they need to ensure they win by at least 103 runs and then hope RCB and MI to lose their final games and in case KKR lose this game against LSG, they definitely won't qualify for the play-offs
