JD Birla Institute hosted its 8th graduation congregational ceremony for batch 2019-2022 on February 4, 2023. Jadavpur vice-chancellor, Suranjan Das, was the chief guest. Pro vice-chancellor, Chiranjib Bhattacharyya; registrar, Snehamanju Basu; chairperson governing body, JDBI, Sumangala Birla and secretary general, Vidya Mandir, Maj Gen VN Chaturvedi (retd) were present.
The college, affiliated to Jadavpur University, has fully exited the pandemic phase, and all academic activities are being carried out offline.

More than 600 students received their degrees in 2022. Of them, around 500 were present for the ceremony.
